Vinyl Buddy
Terms of Use
Effective August 5, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your use of Vinyl Buddy, provided by Justin Willemsen. By downloading or using Vinyl Buddy, you agree to these terms and Apple’s applicable App Store terms.
License and acceptable use
Vinyl Buddy is licensed, not sold, for your personal and lawful use. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, interfere with, reverse engineer, or misuse the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.
No account required
Vinyl Buddy does not provide or require a separate account. Features that use iCloud or Apple Music depend on the Apple services and settings available on your device.
Your collection and content
You are responsible for the information, notes, and images you add to Vinyl Buddy and for having the right to use custom cover photos. You retain your rights in content you create.
You are also responsible for maintaining any backup you consider necessary and for reviewing imported metadata before relying on it.
Apple Music and third-party content
Vinyl Buddy uses Apple Music to find music metadata and artwork. Apple Music is an independent service with its own terms, availability, and privacy practices. Search results may be incomplete, unavailable, or inaccurate.
Album artwork, artist names, track information, and other third-party content remain the property of their respective owners and are displayed for identification and collection-management purposes.
Apple Media Services Terms ↗iCloud and data availability
Optional iCloud storage and synchronization are provided by Apple and depend on your iCloud account, available storage, network connection, device settings, and Apple’s continued service availability. Vinyl Buddy cannot guarantee uninterrupted synchronization or recovery of deleted data.
Availability and changes
Vinyl Buddy may be updated, changed, or discontinued to improve the app, respond to platform requirements, or account for changes in Apple services. Not every feature is guaranteed to remain available on every device or operating-system version.
Disclaimer
Vinyl Buddy is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Justin Willemsen does not warrant that album metadata, artwork, search results, synchronization, or other app content will always be accurate, complete, secure, or uninterrupted.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Justin Willemsen will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, collection records, profits, or use arising from Vinyl Buddy. Rights that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.
Apple standard EULA
Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to Vinyl Buddy. If these terms conflict with mandatory App Store terms, the applicable App Store terms control.
Apple Standard EULA ↗Changes and contact
These terms may be updated when Vinyl Buddy or applicable requirements change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions can be sent to support@jstnwll.com.
