License and acceptable use

Mile Pilot is licensed, not sold, for your lawful use. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, interfere with, or misuse the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.

GPS and mileage accuracy

GPS routes, distances, locations, and deduction estimates may be affected by signal availability, device settings, map data, battery modes, and operating-system behavior.

You are responsible for reviewing and correcting every trip before relying on it for reimbursement, tax, business, medical, charity, or recordkeeping purposes.

Safe use

Do not interact with Mile Pilot while operating a vehicle unless it is lawful and safe. Maintain full attention to driving and comply with all traffic laws.

Tax and professional disclaimer

Mile Pilot is a recordkeeping tool and does not provide tax, accounting, financial, or legal advice. You are responsible for determining whether any mileage qualifies and should consult a qualified professional.

Subscriptions and your data

Mile Pilot requires a paid auto-renewing subscription to use the app. Payment, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are managed through your Apple ID under Apple’s rules.

You are responsible for reviewing exported reports and maintaining any backup you consider necessary.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Mile Pilot is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Justin Willemsen will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses involving missed mileage, inaccurate records, tax consequences, lost data, or unavailable features.

Apple terms, changes, and contact

Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. We may update these terms when Mile Pilot or applicable requirements change. Questions can be sent to support@jstnwll.com.
