Collection and wishlist information

Movie Addict stores the movies, formats, tags, ratings, notes, favorites, wishlist entries, and related details you choose to add.

We do not operate a Movie Addict account system and do not collect your collection on servers controlled by us.

Movie metadata services

Movie Addict uses third-party movie-data services to search titles and retrieve public metadata such as artwork, release information, cast, crew, genres, and summaries.

Search requests may provide those services with the query and technical information normally included with an internet request, such as an IP address or device metadata. We do not send your full collection or personal notes as part of a metadata search.

Local storage and network use

Your collection, wishlist, tags, ratings, and notes are stored on your device. Network access is used when searching for or refreshing movie metadata and artwork.

Artwork and third-party content

Posters, names, descriptions, and other third-party movie content remain subject to their respective owners’ terms and privacy practices. They are shown for identification and collection-management purposes.

Deletion, changes, and contact

You can delete collection and wishlist entries within Movie Addict. Removing the app deletes information stored only on that device.
